• The Closer S1.E8 "Batter Up" (VHS)-The guest appearance by Dawson's Creek's Kerr Smith was nice. Rating-*1/2
• Law & Order S16.E13 "Heart of Darkness" (VHS)-I really don't agree with the sentencing the two "perps" got in this episode.
• Dharma & Greg S1.E16 "Dharma & Greg's First Romantic Valentine's Day Weekend" (VHS)-This episode was kind of awkward and that snow was a terrible substitute for the real thing.

• Gameshow Marathon S1.E1 "The Price Is Right" (TV)-This was a huge disappointment. Ricki Lake is a horrible host, the celebrities sucked, and they didn't even stay true to The Price Is Right. Rating-**

• Medium S1.E1 "Pilot" (VHS)-This is one of the shows I wished I would have watched on its first run. However, I was slightly disappointed with the pilot episode. Rating-**1/2
• Supernatural S1.E15 "The Benders" (VHS)-The first non-supernatural enemy of the year was as crazy as all the fictional monsters. Rating-**1/2
• Deal or No Deal S1.E39 (TV)-Rating-***
• The Apprentice S5.E14 "The Final Battle" (TV)-I never thought The Apprentice would be funny but tonight's episode was hilarious. First you had Trump's very inappropriate (but funny) comment about "Bare-Naked Ladies." Then, the three had trouble remembering who one of Lee's employees was. Rating-***1/2
• According to Jim S5.E14 "The Stick" (VHS)-This episode was kind of cute but also very corny. Rating-**1/2

• The Simpsons S17.E22 "Marge and Homer Turn a Couple Play" (VHS)-Rating-***
• 24 S5.E23 "Day 5: 5:00 AM-6:00 AM" (TV)-Two great villains are killed. It's two bad one of them couldn't have been kept for next season. Rating-***
• 24 S5.E24 "Day 5: 6:00 AM-7:00 AM" (TV)-A solid final episode but not up to the standards of past seasons. Just like the season in full; good but not as good as before (Put me over the 200 Hour Mark). Rating-****
• Alias S5.E16-17 (VHS)-While the finale was better than the rest of the season, I still was disappointed. I loved the end (with Sloane stuck in a cave and Sydney and Vaughn's happy ending) but I wish the Rambaldi plot would have been better resolved (1:24). Rating-****

• Deal or No Deal S1.E36 (VHS)-I'm finally caught up with this show. Once again greed cost a player thousands of dollars. Players have to learn that you always take the deal once there is only one case higher than the offer. Rating-***

• The Amazing Race S1.E12 "5 Continents...10 Countries...And More Than 59 Thousand Miles!" (VHS)-This was a great season finale. Japan was an excellent location, there was a lot of humor, and the best team won (1:24). Rating-****1/2

• Scrubs S1.E5 "My Two Dads" (DVD)-The Star Wars parody was spot-on but the rest of the episode dragged. Rating-***

Best Episode of the Week: Once again, Lost takes the crown. This week's episode provided a lot of answers and a few more questions. Prison Break, Ghost Whisperer, and Veronica Mars all had great episodes this week as well.

Worst Episode of the Week: The New Adventures of Old Christine had a slightly better than average week but it still had one of the lowest scores.

• The Unit S1.E9 "Eating the Young" (VHS)-This show is finally starting to show some improvement. It's still got a long way to go but I can see it being this season's Grey's Anatomy. Rating-**1/2
• The Simpsons S17.E19 "Girls Just Want to Have Sums" (VHS)-There were some laugh out loud moments but I found the plot to be over the top. Rating-***

Best Episode of the Week: Hands down, this award goes to Lost this week. I had an idea that Michael was working with the others but I did not see him shooting two people this early. It was the best episode of Lost this season.

Honorable mention has to go to this week's Veronica Mars. Any other week this episode would have won top honors. I was shocked when Wallace was shot then relieved when it was just a blank. Lots of questions were answered and it set up the season finale very well.

Worst Episode of the Week: The New Adventures of Old Christine seems to have a monopoly on this lackluster award. This week's episode was terribly unfunny and it wasn't even in order. No wonder it only got 1/2 a star.

• Nashville Star S4.E1 "Opening Night" (VHS)-Yes, I know I'm way behind on this series. Nobody really stood out except for Chris Young (1:00). Rating-***
• Dawson's Creek S4.E5 "A Family Way" (VHS)-This episode about sex was just average. Rating-***
• Law & Order: Criminal Intent S5.E19 "Cruise to Nowhere" (VHS)-Poker was the subject of this episode's crime. Unfortunately, it wasn't that interesting. Rating-**1/2
• Survivor S12.E13 "Bamboozled" (TV)-Crazy Shane is finally eliminated. Unfortunately, that wasn't good for my favorite (Terry). Rating-***
• My Name Is Earl S1.E23 "BB" (TV)-Earl crosses off shooting his crush with a BB gun. Thanks to Randy, this was one of the funniest episodes of late. Rating-***1/2
• The Office S2.E21 "Conflict Resolution" (TV)-Dwight's list of grievances against Jim was hilarious. I certainly hope that loveable Jim doesn't transfer. Rating-***

Wow, what a night of television. All three ABC shows had huge surprises and The Amazing Race saw one of its closest finishes ever.

• Alias S5.E13 "30 Seconds" (TV)-There were some very good reveals and two shocking deaths. Rating-***1/2
• Lost S2.E20 "Two for the Road" (TV)-Easily the best episode of Lost's season, this hour brought two shocking deaths and set the stage for a great end to the season. Rating-*****
• Invasion S1.E20 "Run and Gun" (TV)-This was probably one of the better episodes of Invasion's season. Rating-***
  
• The Amazing Race S9.E10 "Man, They Should Have Used Their Fake Names" (VHS)-I officially hate MoJo and Eric & Jeremy now. Eric and Jeremy's idea to cancel the other team's taxis was just plain pathetic. MoJo whined and complained throughout the episode. Rating-***

• Prison Break S1.E20 "Tonight" (TV)-I was a little disappointed with this episode because they advertised that the escape would start tonight. Unfortunately, it didn't really. Thankfully the twist at the end made up for it. Rating-***
• 24 S5.E20 "Day 5: 2:00 AM-3:00 AM" (TV)-Jack may have hit a new low when he hijacked a plane during this episode. Chloe was once again hilarious with her taser. Overall, the episode was one of the weakest of the season. Rating-***
• What About Brian S1.E4 "The Importance of Being Brian" (TV)-This is unquestionably J.J. Abrams weakest show. It's a shame that The Catch or Pros & Cons were passed up for this mediocre dramedy. Rating-**1/2
• How I Met Your Mother S1.E20 "Best Prom Ever" (VHS)-While this episode was light on humor it was good to finally get an episode focused on Lilly. Rating-***
